The technical consultancy of ENSER consisted of:

• Urgent soil protection interventions in the Fosso Campone area, with completion of the consolidation works on the cliff above the only access road to the city of San Leo;
• Urgent works related to the collapse of an important portion of the rock scarp on the northern side of San Leo cliff.

Based on the data collected and considering the possibility of a reactivation of the landslide, even with rapid and sudden dynamics (high danger), the local Authority immediately recognized the necessity to entrust an urgent task for the detailed study of the instability, of the new morphology of the places and for the setting-up of an instrumental monitoring. The monitoring will allow the definition of a suitable civil defense Emergency Plan.
