Project summary

The first phases of the intervention (1994 – 2004) consisted of the completion of the quay walls between the Cavour bridge and the moveable bidge, and included the realization of mooring points for small recreational and fishing boats, with all the services usually provided in modern touristic ports. The new walk path adjacent to the water has a particular touristic and architectonic value.

The last phase of the intervention (2010 – 2012) consisted of the last stretch of quay walls adjacent to via Martiri Fantini, between the Cavour bridge and the bridge leading to the public hospital. In this part a new bycicle path and bridge has been realized, with consequent adaptation of the local traffic system and drainage network.
