The new wearehouse for the storage of the frozen products of Orogel is a double-storey steel building with structural concrete floor. The vertical loads are taken by isolated columns connected at the level of the first floor, while the ceiling of each floor consists of steel truss beams. The footprint of the building has a size of approx. 63m x 43m, with a maximum height of 23m.

Both systems of truss beams have a sufficient height to allow the passage of a person, for MEP installation and for any possible future maintenance.

The whole stucture has no vertical bracing system, since the horizontal loads are taken by the “double pendulum” system constituted by the columns, that are connected in a rigid joint with the truss beams.
