The real estate development “Eko Energy Estate” involves an area of approximately 450'000m2 on the south side of Victoria Island and is part of the large scale urbanization called “Eko Atlantic”, now in course of development in the city of Lagos, Nigeria.

Within this project, ENSER was involved for the detailed design of n.3 tall residential buildings with underground parking. Some relevant numbers of the project are the following:

• height of the towers = 73m;
• gross residential surface of the towers = 45'000m2;
• gross surface of the underground parking = 7'000m2.

During the development of the works, on request of the Client, several site inspections have been done to supervise the construction site and to define some details of the design.

ENSER has also designed and supervised the execution of load tests to evaluate the behaviour of specific prefabricated elements (hollow core slabs) to be used as structural cover of the underground parking.
